I spotted this owl on the ground one morning approximately 5:00 AM. It was starring at me with those golden eyes as owls tend to do. After 12 minutes of taking photos it fly away into the deeper part of the woods and blended in, out of sight. Then again it could have been right in front of me and I would not have seen it.
